Candidate Earle Ford Continues Strong Fundraising Push from Grassroots Donors to become 13th District’s Next Congressman
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Jan. 6, 2025) — Earle Ford, U.S. Army veteran and billionaire buster, raised more than $125,000 in the last quarter to support his quest to become the next Congressman from Florida’s 13th District. That figure came from over 4,200 individual donors. It shows that Floridians of all backgrounds are excited by Ford’s campaign to fight for the district in Congress instead of billionaires and extremist interest groups.
“I am honored to receive such powerful support from the people in our district,” said Ford. “We shattered our end-of-year fundraising goal because our people are tired of elected officials who promote their own interests and the interests of the richest one percent over the district. My focus is on the needs of people and communities in the 13th district alone. There are many local issues we need to address, and I’m going to fight for those issues in Congress to better the lives of everyone in the 13th district.”
Ford has a long history of fighting to support and benefit Floridians and all Americans. As a U.S. Army Airborne Infantryman, he trained soldiers at the Joint Readiness Training Center, in Fort Polk, LA. Then he fought to make America’s billionaires pay their fair share during his work for the IRS. He and his campaign are focused on fighting for universal healthcare, protecting social security, greater hurricane and storm protections, stronger wage and labor protections, and accountability for America’s billionaire class.
